Is it beginning to look like blackmail?
Who is the villain? Who is the victim? Mel Gibson? Or the ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva? The case of the profane tapes continues to get more curiouser each day.
At the beginning of last week, it looked like Mel's goose was cooked, and every day more heat was applied until he looked like a toasted roast, or a roasted toast. Well, like he was toast. Then by the end of the week Ms. Grigorieva's tale began to develop holes, huge holes. The tapes experts say were tampered with, words were taken out, words were added. Sound experts said that there is strong evidence that the tapes were mixed. Then there is Ms. Grigorieva's claim that Mel Gibson knocked out two of her teeth. Well, Ms. Grigorieva's own dentist said that wasn't so. His medical charts show no evidence of a blow to Ms. Grigorieva's mouth, and show that her teeth were fully in tact. He also said that the photo that was circulated on the net, showing her bruised and battered was a fake. The doc said, the nose in the photograph was not hers. Also there is Ms Grigorieva claim that Mel Gibson struck their then two-month-old daughter. According to press reports, there is no record, as of yet, of Ms Grigorieva taking the child to a pediatrician and there was no police report filed of the incident.
At the beginning of this week, observers are beginning to suspect Ms.Grigorieva may have more legal problems than Mr. Gibson. If she filed a false report of abuse? If she tampered with evidence? If all of what America has been hearing for over a week now, is part of a scheme to shake Mr. Gibson down for money? If all of this or some of this is true, then it could be her, not him, who is on the way to the slammer.
Hollywood image consultant, Michael Sands. told the press, “It is starting to look more and more like a good old-fashioned shake down for money., We all know Mel is a childish name caller as those tapes have proved, but that’s very different to being a violent monster. Something just isn’t right here.”
Well as I observed earlier, something doesn't look right. There is a blowfly in the butter milk.
