The count now, according to Kat’s latest Facebook post is 19, and she won’t be surprised if there are more waiting to confess to torrid affairs and one night stands with her ex-fiance’ Jesse James.
Kat Von D, aka Katherine Von Drachenberg, blogged her disgust and acceptance of her famous fiance’ Jesse James’ epic cheating, according to Us Magazine.
"Today I encountered the 19th girl to add to the list of people Jesse cheated on me with during this last year," she wrote in the post, entitled "Thank You, Jesse James."
The inked up Von D was the famous rebound relationship after James singlehandedly destroyed his marriage to actress and golden girl Sandra Bullock. Very few had faith that this relationship would last – save Kat who declared the relationship to be on solid ground and Jesse was a new man.
James and Bullock's nearly six-year marriage dissolved in spring 2010 not long after Bullock was awarded an Oscar and she tearfully thanked James for “having her back.” It was discovered that he had an affair with a tattooed stripper Michelle McGee; McGee was just one of many women who came forward about illicit affairs with the Monster (cheater) Garage star.
Von D felt at the time that James was unfairly judged by the media and came to his defense.
"There was a time when I was confident and excited at proving the world wrong, because I believed so deeply in people's ability to change for the better," she writes.
"Although this was not a primary purpose in the relationship, I did feel like it would be a positive thing for those who judged Jesse solely based on what they read in tabloids, to see that change is always possible -- even in the people who seem hopeless," she admits.
Now Von D finds herself in much the same spot that her predecessor, Bullock was in, the standard last one to know.
In her post she says she “deserves a big fat ‘I told you so’ from everyone, but wishes that everyone was not so right as they turned out they be. “This is about me making peace with myself, and forgiving myself for making some bad mistakes."
In her Facebook posting she humbly says, "Not to worry, I've gladly paid the consequences for every mistake I've ever made, but learned so much from each of them."
