It has been in the wind for a few months now, there was a possibility that basketball star, Lamar Odom was going to be traded, but where he would be traded? In addition, where Lamar goes, so goes Khloe Kardashian and inevitably the rest of the Kardashian clan – at least for extended, usually drama filled, visits.
The Dallas Mavericks happily signed Odom and snagged him away from the Los Angeles Lakers, so the happy couple will begin the process of moving from home base Los Angeles to Dallas.
However, this is not the first experience that Dallas has had with the star (for no reason) Kardashians. According to People Magazine, Khloe’s sister, Kim (the well-known 72-day run-away bride) spent some time in Dallas when she was dating Dallas Cowboy’s receiver Miles Austin.
"But the real Dallas expert is eldest sister Kourtney Kardashian," writes Alan Peppard, Dallas Morning News columnist. "She spent two years living here when she was a student at SMU."
The news a bit of a shock for the couple, but as Khloe told a twitter follower, "We are all sad but positive energy gets you farther then negative.”
Khloe also said in a later tweet that she was excited for the change and she feels that it is happening for a reason.
As for the Mavericks, they are rolling out the red carpet for the popular duo. Coach Rick Carlisle even stated that he would not be opposed to making an appearance on Khloe & Lamar. With all the buttering up Carlisle seems to be doing to welcome the Odom’s to Dallas, such as proclaiming that Khloe has always been his favorite of the Kardashians, it’s no doubt that we will see Carlisle on TV other than on the basketball court.
