Once again, awesomeness prevails.

Larry Flynt, the publisher of Hustler magazine, has reportedly offered Anthony Weiner a new job in Hustler’s Internet Division.

As Slate notes, although the job is not a joke, the job offer is not without traces of irony and is, “somewhat surprising as the congressman seemed unfamiliar with the nuances of private messaging on Twitter.”

Larry Flynt is trying to sweeten the deal to Anthony Weiner by offering him 20% more than his current $174,000 salary as a congressman. In addition, the infamous porn king is offering to move Anthony Weiner to Beverly Hills where the seedy magazine is located. Larry Flynt is apparently impressed with Anthony Weiner’s “intensity” or more likely, is interested in the publicity that having a former congressman on board Hustler’s staff would afford.

I see no reason why Anthony Weiner shouldn’t take Larry Flynt’s generous offer, unless of course, he is really interested in staying married to his wife and becoming a decent father.

1. Anthony Weiner would be able to meet much hotter women than he did on Twitter and Facebook.
2. He would have an entirely new audience to expose himself to.
3. He would be able to use Hustler magazine as a platform to discuss health care reform.
4. He would help save the failing porn industry and be declared a national hero.
5. He would have a bargaining chip and added credentials on his resume when/if he decides to clean up his act and work for Playboy magazine instead.
