Despite the fact that she has been the unwitting and unwilling star of her own sex tape, Paris Hilton still considers herself a believer in "girl power", which is nice to know. She claims to have had "a couple of sexual partners" and she advises girls, "If you give it up to a guy he won't respect you. He'll want you much more if he can't have you."
First of all, I think Paris is smoking the crack pipe if she really thinks she has had only "a couple" of sexual partners. Does she mean sexual partners that she was video-taped with? Or perhaps she actually meant to say "one or two hundred" partners. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and go for the latter.
Even funnier is the fact that Paris has publicly admitted that she is proud of herself for her getting through the difficult times caused due to the release of her sex tape because it "wasn't her fault". Funny, she probably feels the same exact way about her DWI. I doubt she blames herself for anything. What's worse is she believes she is some kind of heroine to girls everywhere for her success at being skinny, blonde, and rich, which admittedly must be pretty taxing.
Her advice sucks. For example, Paris on sex: "I think it's important to play hard to get. No one wants the fake Prada bag- they want the brand new bag that is the most expensive and no one can get."
Deep words of wisdom from a wise woman. Thanks, Paris. I think I'll make you my new spiritual Guru. She is basically saying here that she considers herself a kind of "high class prostitute". If you have less customers, the value goes up. Or, I guess if she were to refer to herself as a cut of meat instead of a Prada handbag, she would consider herself to be Prime Rib as opposed to a Tofu Wiener. Not that I think she is a complete and total idiot, just no one I ever turn to for advice. (One has to wonder how much Prada had to pay for the sponsorship of Paris' nether-regions....)
And, seriously, if Paris Hilton is a role model, who the hell isn't a role model? Since when did fame become the sole basis for a person to become a pillar and a beacon in society? It's the same with Divas. Now, everyone who sings is somehow a Diva. Our standards in the world of pop culture are surprisingly low.
Do you want your daughters turning to Paris Hilton for advice?
