Not surprisingly, I do have a few things to say about the Olympics; the first of which is that NBCs coverage seriously blows and I'm not the only person who thinks so. Not only are there too many stupid interviews and commercials, I already know the results by the time I get to watch anything, even though I am in driving distance from the Games themselves. Thanks, NBC.
Other things: I was excited to see Lindsay Vonn win her race (after watching countless girls fall on the course), but was less than thrilled to see her douche-bag husband/coach/media strategist asking her repeatedly, “How do you feel?” as if he were an annoying reporter instead of the person who is supposed to be supporting her. My advice to loved ones celebrating with the victors and medal-winners, just shut up and hug them, don’t showboat. It was her day, not his.
Next, I love the skating relays for one reason, and one reason only. No, it is not Apolo Ohno, the US team, or even the Koreans, it is the truthful fact that they have turned the fist bump into the ass-push-off, which did slightly shock and disturb me on first sight.

And, last but not least, I love how the men’s (truthfully they are more like boys) snowboarders’ uniforms look like Grunge street clothes. I don’t know if this is a sign of a new trend in clothes or an homage to Kurt Cobain, but I like it.
