Twihards React to Eclipse

Add Comment

AHHHHHHH! That is the collective sound of hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of Twihards after finally being able to see “Eclipse”, the latest installment of the Twilight saga. I believe that in the Twihard world this is somewhat akin to an orgasm, but I don’t want to get too personal in a blog post.

Reactions from the non-Twihard minority in the world are somewhat different. It’s quite obvious that the whole Non-Human Flesh-eating Vampire idea was secretly concocted by Vampire Rights activists as a way to lure the more humans into thinking they are harmless, which we all know is a false statement and non-Twihards are definitely aware of that fact.

Here are some actual photos taken at the “Eclipse photo-booths” from around the country.

One great thing about the Twihard community is their lack of fear to show their enthusiasm for a movie targeted to Tweens.

Justin Bieber- NOT DEAD!

Justin Bieber Lives!Justin Bieber Lives!BREAKING NEWS: Justin Bieber is NOT dead. I repeat: Justin Bieber is NOT dead. Do not panic. (Or celebrate too early, whichever the case may be.)

While it’s up to you as individuals to determine for yourselves whether or not the fact that Justin Bieber is still walking the earth is a positive thing or not, t please don’t spread the rumor about his death any further because it would force the bloggers (like me) to continue to waste their time and effort to dispel the rumors.

Here’s what happened:

The frugal Queen, Elizabeth II

Add Comment

Across the pond, in frugal England -- Now that the Tories have come to power at 10 Downing Street and have begun their Ebenezer Scrooge act of down-sizing government, cutting pensions and tossing grand mum and old auntie into the dustbin, the word has gotten to the palace, and that great and noble lady, the Queen, Elizabeth II, has decided to recycle her royal gowns, and more important, has decided to let the world and the old grand mums living in the dustbin know. Maybe they can recycle their food?

Headline in the world news -- "Queen wears 'recycled' dress to banquet in Toronto!" Toronto, Canada? Well, they are just Canadians! Would they have noticed? Ah, but the recycled dress thing is for the British press to sup up like gravy.

All Little Girls Grow Up

Add Comment

Big non announcement. Well, it's an announcement, not big and is non news. Miley Cyrus has split from Hannah Montana. So? Don't all little girls grow up, or are supposed to anyway?

Ms. Cyrus has broken out of the romper room, skipped free of the Disney stables and she is galloping toward where? The playboy mansion? Or something further away from Pluto, Minnie and Mickey Mouse, to Lady GaGa land?

In the video, she looks back on 'Hannah Montana,' the show that brought her fame, and she gets a little serious, wondering, "whether the new child stars of today will actually have it easier than she did."

She spent many years playing her alter ego 'Hannah Montana,' on the TV and on stage. But the question America is asking -- well, some--a few, are asking -- Is Miley Cyrus ready to be just Miley Cyrus? Or does she plan to compete with Lindsay and GaGa, and Britney and Paris Hilton?

Mel Gibson: Not Very Christ-Like

Add Comment

Mel Gibson's Passion of the ChristMel Gibson's Passion of the ChristNote to any Christians out there: Do not defend Mel Gibson for any of his derogatory comments and don’t confuse an actor who made a movie about  Christ with Christ himself. I may not be a Christian, but I am pretty sure that if there is a holy trinity, Mel Gibson has absolutely no part in it.

Of course, you might not want to listen to me, so I’ll offer you an alternative. If Stephen Baldwin is not your choice as a bad boy poster child for the Christian right, maybe Mel Gibson can still be your man. He’s got a lot going for him: a great butt, film credits that include everything from Mel as a Patriot to the Lord Jesus Christ himself, and now a reputation for language that is definitely R-Rated for profanity, racism, and misogyny.

Lindsey Graham Says He's Totally Not Gay

Add Comment

In a New York Times magazine profile to be published this Sunday, the Senior Senator from South Carolina tells America what she has not necessarily been waiting to hear one way or the other. Mr Lindsey Graham tells America that he is "totally not gay."

If he was, who cares? That's his business. The senator from the conservative state, that means right-wing these days, went to lengths to rebuke the rumor about his sexuality. "I know it's really gonna upset a lot of gay men -- I'm sure hundreds of 'em are gonna be jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge", Mr,Graham said, "but I ain't available. I ain't gay. Sorry."

Senator, really?

The Kat Stacks Assault: There's No Excuse

Add Comment

Kat StacksKat StacksRappers are not typically known for their highly evolved attitude towards women, which is why the news that a female groupie who took delight in sleeping with and then mocking some of the more infamous rappers of the times was physically assaulted for her words was not all that surprising.

Kat Stacks, who can be seen in the embedded video below, was beaten up by apparent defenders of rappers Bow Wow and Fabulous. This is definitely yet another case where the retribution for the alleged incident does not fit the actual “crime” (and I definitely use the word "crime" loosely here). Kat Stacks was called a bitch and told repeatedly to apologize to the two rappers for the alleged offenses of “talking shit” about the two rappers as one man grabbed her hair.

The CIA's "Great Idea" to Make a Video Depicting Saddam Hussein in a Compromising Position

Add Comment

We all know that the CIA has some strange covert operations that in all probability the general public would not necessarily approve of, but did you know that the CIA’s Iraq Operations Group actually once seriously considered making a video asserting that Saddam Hussein was gay?
